Huangfan District farm becomes a leading agricultural industrialization enterprise

　　This newspaper reports that Huangfan District Farm is Henan Province's only large state-owned agricultural reclamation enterprise integrating agricultural, forestry, and animal husbandry development with agriculture, industry, and commerce. Currently, the farm owns 147,000 mu of land, including 110,000 mu of cultivated land and nearly 10,000 mu of orchards. It also has six large-scale intensive pig farms. It has become a breeding base for fine crop varieties in Henan Province, an important fruit and vegetable storage base, and a live pig export base. It has successively won numerous honors, including "Advanced Unit in Democratic Management of Henan Province," "National May 1st Labor Award," "National Modern Agricultural Construction Demonstration Farm," "Advanced Unit in National Grain Production," and "National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization."

　　Huangfan District Farm is the province's breeding and promotion base for fine varieties. The farm relies on standardization to build its Brand, and in management, it strictly implements the "six unifications" measures: unified layout of crop varieties, unified supply of bulk production materials, unified employee technical training and guidance, unified technical operating procedures, unified product testing and inspection, and unified product acquisition, processing, and sales. This effectively guarantees product quality and has built a high reputation in society. The farm's "Dishen" trademark has been named one of the "Top Ten Famous Crop Trademarks in the Province." The farm annually produces and sells 55 million kilograms of wheat and corn seeds, accounting for over 13% of the Henan wheat seed market share and over 3% of the national wheat seed market share. The farm has built six modern pig farms in accordance with safe swine production standards, with an annual output of 110,000 pigs, 30,000 breeding pigs, and 35,000 live pigs supplied to Hong Kong, accounting for one-sixth of Henan Province's live pig supply to Hong Kong. The farm's animal husbandry company has been named "Advanced Animal Husbandry Industrialization Breeding Enterprise" by the provincial government, and "National Agricultural Reclamation Top 100 Fine Breed Enterprise" and "Harmless Live Pig Production Demonstration Base" by the Ministry of Agriculture. The pigs and pork products produced have been named "Harmless Agricultural Products" by the Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau. The farm's "Panqu" brand breeding pigs have been named "Henan Famous Brand Agricultural Products." The farm has over 2,000 mu of standardized harmless fruit production demonstration parks and nearly 10,000 mu of production bases. It has been awarded "China's Star Enterprise in the Forestry and Fruit Tree Seedling Industry," "Harmless Agricultural Products Demonstration Base," and "Green Agriculture Demonstration Zone Construction Unit" by the state. The farm currently has more than 300 low-temperature cold storage facilities with a storage capacity of 100,000 tons. It is part of the eastern Henan cold storage cluster and is one of the nation's important fruit and vegetable distribution centers.

Huangfan District LvYuan Chemical Co., Ltd. is a Henan Province calcium superphosphate manufacturer, with an annual output of 300,000 tons of calcium superphosphate, 150,000 tons of sulfuric acid, and 300,000 tons of compound fertilizer. "LvYuan" brand fertilizers are popular in more than 30 counties and cities in eastern Henan and western Anhui, and are well-liked by farmers. Huangfan District Tianying Cylindr Liner Co., Ltd. is a Henan Province high-tech enterprise. Its production of chemical cylinder liners and high-power marine diesel engine cylinder liners is technologically advanced; the use of thin-walled liner repair technology to repair compressor cylinders fills a national gap. The farm's Yuxin Daily Chemical, Zhongyi Garment, and other enterprises are developing rapidly. Dinghong Industrial Co., Ltd. is currently one of the largest manufacturers of car seat cushions in the country, with strong production and sales, and a promising market outlook.

　　Technological innovation has yielded fruitful results. Huangfan District Farm has established a relatively complete research, experiment, demonstration, and promotion system, with a technological contribution rate of 56%. It has cultivated excellent animal breeds such as the "Pan Nong Hua Pig" and "Henan Light Saddle Horse," which are famous throughout the province. In recent years, the farm has also cultivated 13 new crop varieties with independent intellectual property rights, including "Panmai No. 8."
