Huangfan District farm becomes a leading agricultural industrialization enterprise

　　This newspaper reports that Huangfan District Farm is Henan Province's only large state-owned agricultural reclamation enterprise with comprehensive development in agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry, and integrated operation of agriculture, industry, and commerce. Currently, the farm owns a total of 147,000 mu of land, including 110,000 mu of cultivated land and nearly 10,000 mu of orchards. It also has 6 large-scale intensive pig farms. It has become the largest breeding base for fine crop varieties in Henan Province, an important fruit and vegetable storage base, and a major export base for live pigs. It has successively won honors such as "Advanced Unit in Democratic Management of Henan Province," "National May 1 Labor Award," "National Modern Agricultural Construction Demonstration Farm," "National Advanced Unit in Grain Production," and "National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization."

　　Huangfan District Farm is the province's largest breeding and promotion base for fine varieties. The farm relies on standardization to build its Brand, and strictly implements "six unifications" in management: unified layout of crop varieties, unified supply of bulk production materials, unified employee technical training and guidance, unified technical operating procedures, unified product testing and inspection, and unified product acquisition, processing, and sales. This effectively ensures product quality and has built a high reputation in society. The farm's "Dishen" trademark has been rated as one of the "Top Ten Famous Crop Trademarks in the Province" and has been recognized by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as a "China Famous Trademark." The farm annually produces and sells 55 million kilograms of wheat and corn seeds, accounting for more than 13% of the Henan wheat seed market share and more than 3% of the national wheat seed market share. In accordance with the safety production standards for live pigs, the farm has built 6 modern pig farms, with an annual output of 110,000 pigs, an annual supply of 30,000 breeding pigs, and an annual supply of 35,000 live pigs to Hong Kong, accounting for one-sixth of Henan Province's supply to Hong Kong. The farm's animal husbandry company has been named by the provincial government as an "Advanced Animal Husbandry Industrialization Breeding Enterprise," by the Ministry of Agriculture as a "Top 100 Agricultural Reclamation Fine Breed Enterprise" and a "Harmless Live Pig Production Demonstration Base." The live pigs and pork products produced have been named "Harmless Agricultural Products" by the Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau. The farm's "Panqu" brand breeding pigs have been named "Henan Provincial Famous Brand Agricultural Products." The farm has more than 2,000 mu of standardized harmless fruit production demonstration parks and nearly 10,000 mu of production bases. It has been awarded by the state as "China's Star Enterprise in the Forestry and Fruit Tree Seedling Industry," "Harmless Agricultural Product Demonstration Base," and "Green Agriculture Demonstration Zone Construction Unit." The farm has more than 300 low-temperature cold storage facilities with a storage capacity of 100,000 tons. It is the largest group of cold storage facilities in eastern Henan Province and one of the most important fruit and vegetable distribution centers in the country.

Huangfan District Lvyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. is the largest manufacturer of superphosphate in Henan Province, with an annual output of 300,000 tons of superphosphate, 150,000 tons of sulfuric acid, and 300,000 tons of compound fertilizer. Following the "Dishen" trademark, the farm's "Lvyuan" trademark has also been recognized as a "China Famous Trademark." "Lvyuan" brand fertilizers are popular in more than 30 counties and cities in eastern Henan and western Anhui, and are well-loved by farmers. Huangfan District Tianying Cylindr Liner Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise in Henan Province, with advanced technology in the production of chemical cylinder liners and high-power marine diesel engine cylinder liners; the use of thin-walled liner technology to repair compressor cylinder bodies has filled a national gap and has been praised by the State Council Development Center as "the best in China." The farm's Yuxin Daily Chemical, Zhongyi Garment, and other enterprises are developing rapidly. Dinghong Industrial Co., Ltd. is currently the largest manufacturer of car seat cushions in China, with booming production and sales, and a promising market outlook.

　　Technological innovation has yielded fruitful results. Huangfan District Farm has established a relatively complete system of scientific research, experimentation, demonstration, and promotion, with a technological contribution rate of 56%. It has cultivated excellent livestock breeds such as "Fannong Flower Pig" and "Henan Light Saddle Horse," which are well-known throughout the province. In recent years, the farm has also cultivated 13 new crop varieties with independent intellectual property rights, including "Fanmai No. 8."
